For twenty years I have practiced as a licensed clinical social worker providing brief, ymptom-focused and longer term psychotherapy to adults and couples. Depression, anxiety, relationship issues, divorce, parenting, bereavement, addictions and self-esteem are problems typically addressed in my practice. My client population spans racial, ethnic, religious, economic and occupational groups and I believe that understanding individuals in their multiple life contexts is important for effective therapy. Informed, active clients are likely to be more satisfied with their therapy and have better outcomes and I encourage clients to participate in planning and evaluating this collaborative effort. My two office locations are in Brookline and Newton, Massachusetts.
