Stacie Crochet, LCSW makes her home in Vancouver, WA. Through her private practice she is committed to helping people overcome addiction to alcohol and/or drugs, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, ADD and other stresses that affect all of us at some time in our lives. As a therapist she is well respected by many other social workers, doctors, and licensed mental health professionals in and around Washington/Oregon.

Her credentials include the following: LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), AAC (Advanced Addiction Counselor), CCBT (Certified Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist), BCD (Board Certified Diplomate) in Clinical Social Work and SAP (Substance Abuse Professional). She earned a Masters of Social Work degree from Florida State University at Tallahassee, Florida in 1994. Her undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin, Texas.

Stacie has over 22 years of counseling experience in the mental health field. She was a psychotherapist and Urgent Care counselor at Austin Regional Clinic (later named Integrated Mental Health) for three years. Prior to that, she was Social Services Director at Palmview Psychiatric Hospital, Lakeland, Florida. Stacie has assisted victims at the Center for Battered Women, and has worked with adolescents and substance abuse individuals in overseas military schools and other psychiatric settings. She has considerable experience counseling clients with ADD, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder and substance abuse. Stacie’s vast experience as a therapist enables her to be an extremely effective social worker who is comfortable counseling a diverse group of people.

Stacie believes that healing is a collaborative endeavor that requires honest caring without judgment; she is warm, open, encouraging and direct. Stacie is an active therapist; combining experience, education, creativity and sense of humor with a down-to-earth, realistic approach to counseling. Rather than adopting only one methodology for all individuals and issues, Stacie draws from a variety of methods that seem to be most effective for each individual and situation. She is experienced with a variety of mental health issues and will cooperatively assist the client in clarifying his or her goals for treatment.
