The Capitol Hill Center is a private group practice of licenced experienced therapists serving individuals and families, adults, children, adolescents, couples, and groups. As a group, we offer a broad base of skills and theoretical orientations to serve a diverse community. We provide psychotherapy and counseling to individuals and families who need to cope with a particular life crisis and to those who are experiencing longer term difficulties. Our practice includes clinical social workers, psychologists, and a psychiatrist, who can prescribe medications when necessary for patients seeing a therapist.The Center is located at 530 Seventh Street SE, between E and G Streets, SE. We are 2 blocks from the Eastern Market Metro station on Pennsylvania Ave. SE. Individual therapists also see clients at several other Metropolitan DC locations, including Dupont Circle, Northwest DC, Alexandria, VA, Bethesda, MD, and Silver Spring, MD. The Center includes therapists experienced in professional supervision and training. Ongoing seminars are offered in recognition of the importance of keeping abreast of new clinical and theoretical approaches and integrating these into the work.
