I also have a second Office in Washington D.C. With adults, I believe in the power of learning new skills, such as how to deal with feeling, anger-control and assertion. With children,I believe in focusing on self-esteem. My style is warm, practical and solution oriented. I tend to do for my clients more than is implied by the “Therapeutic-hour.” For example, by providing with referrals, reading materials, supportive-contacts with experienced individuals, and session summaries, when this is helpful. I truly love my work and care for my clients. I have published one book for children, and am working now on a parenting book. However, much of my work also involves marital and individual adult psychotherapy.
