Pamela Zika is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Governors State University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology from Illinois State University.

Pamela believes that a good therapeutic relationship is paramount in making positive life changes. Her empathetic, non-judgmental, and welcoming personality creates a safe and comfortable environment for all clients during counseling sessions. Pamela helps people clarify, envision, and obtain their life aspirations and goals. Her empathic and down to earth nature allows her to understand the many challenges clients endure. Pamela utilizes Reality Therapy, Person Centered, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in her approach with clients. Pamela has extensive experience counseling children, adolescents, adults, seniors, families, couples, and groups in both clinical and outpatient settings. In her clinical work, Pamela is well versed in both traditional therapeutic techniques as well as creative modalities such as play therapy, music, role play, and guided imagery.
