Corinne’s passion to help children thrive both inside and outside of the classroom is a great addition to our IFC team. She has a unique ability to assess the impact of school, family, and community on a child’s learning. With this she develops engaging lessons that allow her to implement individualized educational interventions for children with learning disabilities or learning challenges.

Corinne has over 15 years of teaching experience. She started her teaching career in preschool and has taught in both Canada and the United States. She obtained her Masters in Literacy and Specialized Instruction from DePaul University in 2010. She is a certified Reading Specialist and is currently working for Chicago Public Schools as a Literacy Coach. She has worked with students ranging in age from 3-12. She has experience working with struggling readers, gifted students and adults. Her passion is early childhood education and the social emotional learning of all students. She believes strongly in the IFC model of partnering with parents and looks forward to partnering with parents to ensure academic success for their child.
