Dr. Barry M. Cohn has passionately dedicated over 3 decades to helping individuals, couples and families in need of clinical psychology. Dr. Cohn is highly experienced in assessing and treating issues such as eating disorders, addiction and depression. In private practice since 1996, Dr. Cohn is also an educator, researcher and consultant working closely with colleagues, hospitals and law enforcement. Dr. Cohn earned his Ph.D. in clinical psychology in 1989 from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology after completing his research project, “Object Relations Conceptualizations of Agoraphobia.” Dr. Barry Cohn is an often quoted “go to” expert in his field and a sought-after lecturer at numerous industry conferences. He has been interviewed on radio and television for his insight about eating disorders and teens and cosmetic surgery.
