Terry Matlen, M.S.W., A.C.S.W.

Often times, adults with ADD battle with the “extra baggage” of having lived a lifetime with undiagnosed ADD, causing issues of poor self esteem, depression and anxiety. Once the client’s past and present difficulties are re-framed with that of having a neurobiological disorder, it allows the person to free him/herself from the chronic negative self talk so that he/she can surge ahead with feelings of competency. In addition to counseling, I offer individual ADD coaching via telephone and/or email contacts as well as weekly group ADD coaching in my office.I am on the board of directors for National ADDA and am co-coordinator for the E. Oakland County CHADD Chapter.
